US and China have agreed to cut carbon emission, the goal are ambition but reachable. While Mr Obama has announced the goal for US ( cutting by 26% the carbon emission by 2025) the Chinese president has committed his country to use more nuclear and more solar wind energy.
The deal was saluted by Mr Obama as been an example of the collaboration between the two county

proposition 47 is hitting the local jail population. The approved proposition had the effect to treating as misdemeanor small law infraction like possession of small amount of drug, forgery, petty crime.
The effect is noticeable on the inflicted sentence.
