post lunch notes

I had a good lunch under the patio: 

chicken tender seasoned with spices, a helthy salad with Chia and Avocado and a couple of Tostadas from Simona.

At lunch I called Simona, she was very happy as she got a really good news. Simona is Assistant Professor at Caltech University as such she has to keep working hard to generate worthy scientific research. At the same time she is financially responsible to run her group and her budget.

She had a good news and she got financed for a couple of grants toward a post doc and a student.

The success rate is about 5% so it shows that Simona is doing a great job.

She is saying " one small step at  the time".

Lapo is doing great he was at home with Anna who already knew the good news.
Tonight the kiddos are going to Taekwon do.
Always busy.
Lapo has already been completing  his homework.
